Our Isibindi Impilo programme, which provides services to orphans, vulnerable children and youth (OVCY), will now include delivering food parcels to at risk families in Khayelitsha in view of the Covid-19 pandemic . Twenty of the child and youth care workers in this programme, together with our Director William Williams, are still working during lockdown as essential health workers. They are in contact with over 10,000 families infected with or affected by HIV and AIDS, many of whom are living in extreme poverty. Empilweni is now fundraising to make up food parcels for these at risk families
